Program Description

Statistics provides exciting opportunities for those working as professional statisticians. The demand for statisticians in the pharmaceutical industry, insurance companies, financial institutions, all branches of government, research institutes, and academia is strong and, as knowledge workers, statisticians cannot easily be outsourced. Although making discoveries and extending knowledge about the natural, social, and business realms has its own rewards, it is also helpful to be a well-paid professional.
