Program Description

The Bachelor of Arts in Music is for students who wish to specialize in music yet still have time to explore the wonderful academic offerings of a large liberal arts institution.The Bachelor of Arts is also perfect for a student who wants to combine the study of music with a non-music related field.

To enter this program, in addition to being admitted to WVU, a student must meet audition requirements in one of the following: a band or orchestral instrument, guitar, piano or voice.

Career Profile

Students who earn this degree have the flexibility of pursuing numerous careers in, and outside of, the arts.

English Language Proficiency

All applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency. WVU accepts either the TOEFL or the IELTS for this purpose. Please see Office of Admissions - English Language Proficiency for more information.
