Program Description

WVU’s accelerated 13-month MBA Program is ideal for someone interested in pursuing an MBA immediately after completing a bachelor’s degree or for someone looking to change careers and/or enhance job opportunities.

This experiential, hands-on program, which is fully accredited by the AACSB-International, prepares students for a successful career in today's competitive world.

Students’ classroom experience is enriched by studying with others from across the United States and the world. The College of Business and Economics firmly believes in the global classroom perspective. All domestic MBA students are required to participate in an international trip to China or Germany.

Career Profile

According to the Wall Street Journal, employers are seeking to hire people with the ability to work in teams. WVU’s MBA program focuses on building team skills. You’ll have the opportunity to both lead and be a vital member of a team, gaining the vital skills that employers seek further advancing your career.

Beginning on the first day of your program, staff from the Center for Career Development will work with you on your resume review, interviewing skills, and networking, preparing you for the competitive job market.

Graduate Program Application Requirements

Applicants must arrange for official copies of transcripts and test scores to be sent directly to the WVU Office of Admissions at PO Box 6009, Morgantown, WV 26506-6009. The program requirements listed below (if any) are in addition to the main WVU Graduate Application.

  • Personal Statement
  • Recommendations: Two letters of recommendation.
  • Test Requirements: GMAT and for International students - TOEFL or IELTS

English Language Proficiency

All applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language proficiency. WVU accepts either the TOEFL or the IELTS for this purpose. Please see Office of Admissions - English Language Proficiency for more information.
